Staff Nurse, RN Job Opening in Manchester, New hampshire - This is a full-time 3rd shift position and applicant MUST be able to commit to a flexible schedule that includes every other weekend. Responsible for providing professional nursing care within the scope of practice and administrative guidelines in accordance with established policies and procedures. Triage and assess needs of inmates, monitor medical/mental health needs of inmates, obtain and carry out orders from the providers, administer care and medications as ordered, update providers on changes in inmate conditions, respond to medical emergencies and perform other related duties as required.
Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse by the State of New Hampshire with minimum of 1 year experience. Must be detail oriented, have strong assessment skills and have the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Must have the ability to work autonomously as well as in conjunction with other healthcare This is a coed correctional facility and applicant must be physically able to climb, stand, bend and lift.
