Propane/Oil Fuel Delivery Driver Job Opening in Shapleigh, Maine - Eastern Propane & Oil is looking for a full-time Propane/Oil Fuel Delivery Driver to join our Shapleigh, ME location.
This safety sensitive position is responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of liquid products to our customers on a daily basis.
Essential Functions:
Deliver and pump liquid fuel products including pulling up to 150 feet of delivery hose
Participate in ?on-call? rotation
Conduct daily pre-trip vehicle inspection and operate company vehicle in a safe, courteous, compliant manner
Interact with customers and co-workers in a respectful and courteous manner and maintain confidentiality of all customer information
Perform invoicing and service fee collection at customer locations and provide a daily accounting
Participate in all safety and staff meetings and report any unsafe conditions
Be receptive of and competently use new technology
Neat, timely and accurate paperwork
Complete work assignments safely, satisfactorily, and as assigned
Consistent compliance with company, state and federal safety regulations
Maintain a neat and clean appearance and vehicle
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to read and write English and perform basic math skills
Valid state license for size vehicle and appropriate endorsements
Submit to and pass Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug and alcohol tests
Proven history of a safe driving record and must maintain same
Have ability to perform all functions of the job in every weather condition, day and night
Knowledge of out of gas procedure; Be minimum of 21 years old
CDL with Tanker and Hazmat Endorsement Required
