Junior Software Developer Job Opening in Portland, Oregon - Tura Solutions is a small but highly experienced group of Data Integration solution architects. We have been providing consulting services mainly in the area of Data Integration, micro-services, Big Data applications, and Cloud integration for over a year. We're expanding our operations to develop our own Cloud based data management tool. We're looking for talented, self-driven, and motivated junior software developers. Someone with good existing skills or eager to learn quickly.
We are looking for a junior developer who is eager to learn data integration, cloud services, and Big Data systems. We need someone with good Python and Java experience; basic understanding of Distributed Computing frameworks (ie: Hadoop, Spark), SQL databases, and Agile software development methodology. Most importantly we need someone with good design instincts; some who can quickly understand the overall application architecture and be able to design, debate, develop, test, and fully own their protion. You will initially work with our senior developers, engage with potential early users, and start designing and developing portions of our application.
