TITLE: Leasing Consultant REPORTS TO: Manager

Winfield Property Management is looking for candidates with strong sales skills and exceptional customer service abilities. Leasing Consultants at WPM are responsible for all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, and lease renewals. Our Leasing Consultants interact directly with prospective and current residents to achieve the property's maximum occupancy. This includes generating and handling traffic, qualifying prospects, leasing apartments and preparing lease documentation. As a leasing consultant you will also have the opportunity to use your marketing skills.
Hiring Requirements : We are looking for someone with two or more years sales or related experience, HS/GED required, college a big plus. Saturdays required.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACTIVITIES:
Responsible for greeting residents
Answer incoming calls, assist with resident needs
Responsible for maintaining and updating leasing information
Keep monthly record of current market conditions
Stay fully informed of all rental rates, sizes, locations and all amenities of property
Develop full knowledge of the application process, requirements and screening policies
Focus on maintaining on-going resident retention
Keep up on sales techniques, fair-housing policies
Have an awareness of the ?curb appeal? of the property
Help read ledgers answer service questions for residents and collect rent payments
Assist in creating newsletters, communication of events to residents
Follow policies as trained, for file completion, organization and auditing
Communicate positively with vendors and fellow employees
Anything else the manager or assistant feels could attribute to the position

SUPERVISION OR MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
No supervisory requirements
Work together to benefit the property.
Help and encourage one another and pick up the slack whenever possible
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Basic computer knowledge: Microsoft Office Suite. Google Platform. Scanning. Printing. Emailing.
Organizational skills
