Business Consultant (Entry Level) Job Opening in Tulsa, Oklahoma - What is the position?
The Business Consultant will be responsible for identifying client?s business needs or problems, define objectives, and help set strategic goals. They will also contribute to the overall goals and objectives of the business as a whole.
What will you be doing?
As a Business Consultant, you will:
Provide clients with the necessary tools, resources, and information needed to make educated business decisions
Work with clients to provide advice and resources to fulfill their business needs
Work alongside internal team members to understand and enhance organizational goals and metrics.
Create strategies designed to identify qualified resources for clients
Provide internal teams with tools, resources, and information needed to make the best decisions for the overall business
Collaborate with multiple business units including business development, accounting, finance, human resources, marketing, and sales.
Negotiate costs and other terms and conditions with clients
Engage with clients regularly to harvest long-term relationships
Manage current contract employees
Communicate effectively with team members to create a productive environment
Maintain relationships with industry contacts to gain industry knowledge
What are the requirements?
Bachelor?s Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field
GPA of 3.25 or above
0-3 years of professional work experience
2+ years of experience in a business environment through a job or internship is a must
Experience in a leadership role (through academics, organizations, or professional)
Experience with data analysis and identifying workflow inefficiencies
Ability to understand a wide variety of business practices
Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple clients
Excellent problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
