JOB SUMMARY
Report to the US Controller and assist in preparation and analysis of GAAP and Statutory financial statements for a property and casualty insurance company/surplus lines carrier, including all annual statement schedules. Assist in preparation of annual audited statutory financial statements, including footnotes and preparation of audit support schedules and documentation. Assist in preparation of quarterly financial statements, including GAAP and statutory financials, including all footnote support and supporting documentation. Assist in analysis of financial statements from quarter to quarter and in preparation of key quarterly management reporting information.
JOB DUTIES
Assist in preparation of monthly Statutory and GAAP financial statements, including NAIC quarterly and annual filings.
Assist in preparation of NAIC quarterly and annual statement, including preparation of various support schedules and analyses.
Assist in preparation of annual audited financial statements and in coordination of year end audit, including preparation of support for footnotes.
Prepare IFRS Quarterly Group Reporting Package for UK Submission.
Assistance with preparation of tax documents for annual consolidated tax return.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor?s degree in accounting. CPA preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products; skillful in Excel programming.
GAAP and Statutory reporting experience.
Hands on, organized self starter, and team player.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Experience with Sungard/EAS GL, Crystal reporting, Biz Insight, and/or Clearwater Analytics a plus.
