COOK-SUPERVISOR & TEMP MANAGER Job Opening in Bentonville, Arkansas - Taking applications for full or part time positions at Benton County Jail. Applicant will be trained as a cook/supervisor over inmates in a correctional setting. Applicant will also be trained to fill in as the site manager (Food Service Director) while current manager is on medical leave.
The cook/supervisor is in charge of running a shift and supervising up to 10 inmates. This position responsibilities include but is not limited to: *Collecting meal counts and making coun...t sheet balance *Completing daily meal production records *Supervising inmates in all aspects of cooking, cleaning and meal service. Must lead by example, so you will be expected to participate in these tasks. *Keeping up with company and local health department standards. *Maintaining all temperature and tool logs *Work cooperatively with others *Lift items weighing up to 60# *Practice security measures *Work alone for long periods; stand and work for long periods with intermittent breaks
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: *Background Investigation and Drug Screen *Possession of a valid class C driver license *Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays and on an emergency, as needed basis.
TEMP MANAGER REQUIREMENTS: *Oversee daily food service operation in the unit *Maintain systems and procedures for ordering, receiving, storing, preparing and serving of food and related products *Assist with unit forecast and unit accounting of inventory *Ensure requirements for appropriate sanitation and safety levels *Conduct weekly inventory
