ACS Global Search has been retained by a Top regional Professional Services firm to locate a Human Resources Business Partner (Manager level)
We are seeking a self-motivated, energetic Human Resources professional who has experience in the professional services firm (90+ professionals with total staff of 150, with 3 offices in Arkansas and 1 in Texas as well as professionals who work remotely)
Consulting, Professional, Financial, Law firms, legal industry, Accounting and Medical firms would align with our client.
Any experience recruiting for professionals would be helpful.
You will be responsible for HR business strategies, implementation, recruitment, compensation, policies and procedures, benefits administration, employee relations, payroll, performance management, training, and FMLA administration.
You will be responsible for general supervision of all staff positions.
This position also serves as a consultant to the professional staff and employees concerning HR-related issues in accordance with firm policy, local, state and federal laws. This position reports to the Executive Director and is assisted by an HR Admin.
This is a Monday-Friday 40-43 hour work week average.
Current incumbent is retiring after 30+ years of service and has seen the company grow year over year.
Responsibilities:
Create and facilitate firm policy development in support of firm management and administration
Manage all of the firm?s non-professional staffing needs, including recruitment and selection.
Onboarding, training and annual reviews of staff to include development.
Oversee and manage the day-to-day HR functions for the firm
Manage and oversee the non-professional performance process, including annual reviews, salary adjustments, terminations, and bonuses
Manage all new hire orientations, along with all new hire processes and file maintenance
Facilitate and support coordination of firm payrolls
Partner with insurance brokers and manage the firm?s benefits administration process, including benefit renewals, COBRA, determining plan designs, and reconciliation of invoices
Administer the firm?s short-term disability, long-term disability, and FMLA
Responsible for all firm insurances: malpractice, property and casualty, workers compensation, etc.
Oversee the employment verification and unemployment compensation process
Develop training programs and initiatives to enhance staff development
Design wellness programs
Manage and guide quarterly meetings
Qualifications and Skills:
Strong leadership, management, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Understanding, influencing, and serving others are important attributes to this position
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Must be flexible, have well-developed interpersonal skills, and be able to interact with employees at all levels of the firm, as well as vendors and others outside the firm
Bachelor?s degree in human resources management, business, or related field of study, or equivalent experience
Minimum six (6) years human resources generalist management experience
Proficiency with MS Office and working knowledge of computer systems and processing
Strong analytical skills and attention to details is a must
Certification in human resources, such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP is preferred
Possess an understanding of, and experience with, current employment-laws and recordkeeping requirements
Prior experience with leave of absence administration preferred
Our client's corporate offices are located in the heart of Downtown Little Rock.
