Outside Sales Representative - Commission Job Opening in Houston, Texas - Envision Global Leadership, (EGL), is a leadership development firm headquartered in Houston TX. We are currently launching a new phase of our product offering and are conducting a 120-day market test. This is an opportunity to share in building a successful business line, work as part of a larger team, and help shape future industry leaders.
The offering is already in the market and has proven viability. Until now it has been a secondary or optional offering. We now want to test as a more central part of the business and a primary business product and service. While we use this internationally, our initial goal is to expand with first focus in the Houston Metro market, emphasizing the energy industry. EGL has long history in energy, and the offering has demonstrated success in that industry.
We are bringing together a team of highly effective, team players who are outside sales professionals with a single goal of capitalizing on this market.
100% commission based contract positions
Short term delivery target, longer term potential depending on success in role
Team members will operate virtually, with weekly in-person meetings with CEO and sales team in a central office location
EGL support for existing market and product potential, and centrally maintained CRM and market intelligence
Product Offering: We are offering a leadership assessment process to groups of people, either an existing leadership team, people on a succession planning list, or participants in a leadership development event of some sort. We provide an online 360 for the leaders (or multirater, as we call it) a debrief session, and an action planning session. For the organization sponsors we provide overall reporting on the group development needs or leverage opportunities.
A typical contract runs roughly $20,000 - $50,000, with some much higher, and it takes about 4 ? 5 weeks to run.
You will be interacting with corporate heads of Human Resource, Talent Management, OD, or related areas.
Training and Preparation: EGL will train you in the mechanics of the process required for you to be able to make a proper pitch, and will provide ongoing support, and closing resources to ensure the offering has been properly framed for the need.
Provision for Materials and Resources: EGL has some materials already developed, and some resources for CRM and outreach. These will be provided.
Primary Function: Operate as part of a team for marketing, promoting and profitably selling products and services to new customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Seeks out prospective customers/business opportunities with new customers.
Work as a sales team member to develop a marketing strategy and plan.
Collaboratively develop and maintain a sales forecast to help analyze market conditions for maximum productivity and sales growth.
Implement individual sales plan to support sales and profitability goals.
Generate profitable sales orders.
Work remotely while maintaining high degree of collaboration.
Makes personal sales calls.
Follow-up on all generated quotations to assure that the customer is being serviced and to document the outcome of the proposed solution.
Report competitive conditions and feedback from customers to management.
Execute sales efforts in an ethical and professional manner, assuring a favorable impression of self and the company.
Maintains a image in self and work environment including vehicle.
Develops an effective and productive working relationship with the Sales Team and members of EGL?s consultant base.
Qualifications:
Proven record of business development and sales.
Bachelor's degree in business with emphasis in sales and marketing; or closely related field with three years of relevant sales and industry experience; or equivalent combined education and on the job experience.
Commitment to and demonstration of high ethical standards governing professional behavior and interactions.
Technical fluency on social media platforms and basic CRM, as well as standard email and MS Office products.
Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats, including sales presentations
Demonstrated capability to develop strong interpersonal working relationships and work in a team environment.
Strong customer service orientation.
Read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, etc.
Requirements:
Must be mobile in Houston area, able to make sales meetings and EGL meetings
A valid driver?s license and proven safe driving record. Current auto
Home office area, with full high-speed access and ability to run web cons and phone meetings professionally and reliably
Role is BYOD. EGL will provide infrastructure for communications and brand
Must pass standard background screening including D&A testing.
