Summary
Nevada Skilled Nursing Development is currently seeking a Sr. Project Director with 10-15 years? experience in Healthcare development to be based out of our Las Vegas, NV office. The candidate will manage and coordinate NSND?s post-acute / skilled nursing projects through all phases of design, permitting and construction. Provides leadership for regional site project management function by managing, coordinating, and developing staff of Fidelity and third party project managers. Will meet regularly with senior management at corporate real estate and with other top executives.
Essential Responsibilities & Duties
Assist with project development to include contracts, design, construction management, project systems, delivery, and specifications to ensure relation and compliance to project requirements
Perform financial analysis including development budget and proforma to ensure the financial feasibility of the project
Ability to lead various types of meetings with and for Nevada Skilled Nursing Development with a variety of customers (Client, design team, engineering consultants, contractors, subcontractors, vendors and various local and state authorities having jurisdiction)
Ensure accuracy and completeness of architectural documentation through regular reviews and coordination with user departments including elevations, floorplans, and equipment drawings.
Facilitate project meetings to include documentation, administration, and tracking of relevant information and statuses
Leads and directs planning and project execution in compliance with infection control, maintenance, building systems, security, technology, and medical equipment standards for healthcare projects
Coordinate, direct, and monitor activities of construction management staff, contractors, engineers, architects and related performing entities
Perform other duties as required to ensure project success
Qualifications
BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or similar field required
10-15 years? experience in the direct management in complex healthcare real estate projects with responsibility for site analysis, permitting and approvals, budget control, estimating, design and construction coordination, and project scheduling. Experience with ground up new construction preferred.
Experience with JCAHO, ADA, OSHA and Infection Control Risk Measures a plus
ASHE certification a plus
