Senior Java Developer Job Opening in Madison, Wisconsin - We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to become an integral part of our client's team in Madison, Wisconsin! You will develop and code for various projects in order to advance software solutions through bug fixes, developing new software enhancements, and new functionality for our client's web portal.
Responsibilities:
Develop and expand features and products using a variety of programming languages
Review project requirements and write technical specifications
Debug, test, and fix errors
Document code development and revisions
Create and use software tools to help automate writing code
Qualifications:
Previous experience in programming, software development, or other related fields
Knowledge of Java, RESTful web services, Struts, Websphere, Eclipse, Git, DB2, SonarQube, and Jenkins
Familiarity with databases such as DB2, Oracle, and SQL Server
Experience and openness to working in Waterfall and Agile work environments
Experience working with multiple operating systems such as Windows, Redhat, and z/OS
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Strong attention to detail
