Work Hours/Positions Available:
This position is Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day. We are recruiting for two Billing Representatives that we will need to start in May. The selected candidates must have significant experience (at least two-three years) experience in Accounts Receivable, appeals, and great attention to detail. We are looking to interview as early as the end of this week.
Position Overview:
The Billing Representative engages in accurate and timely submissions of insurance claims; including obtaining missing information, denials, claims follow-up, cash posting and customer service calls Maintains compliance with departmental standards, True Health Diagnostics policies and procedures, HIPAA and healthcare governing agency policies and procedures.
Required Education, Skills and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Position requires computer proficiency, attention to details, accuracy, organizational skills, and verbal and written communication skills.
Three-five years of healthcare insurance experience.
Working knowledge of major payers and their websites necessary
Previous medical laboratory experience is preferred.
Ability to communicate well through written and verbal means is required.
Requires computer proficiency and a high degree of proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel.
Attention to detail, accuracy, time management and organizational skills
Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within the field of healthcare insurance.
Ability to maintain strict HIPAA compliance
The ability to multi-task, prioritize, work under pressure and a commitment to achieving customer satisfaction is the key to success in this position.
Essential (other duties may be assigned):
Interpret and analyze EOBs, remits and payment posting entries
Accurate and timely submissions of insurance claims; including obtaining missing information, denials, claims follow-up, cash posting and customer service calls
Work effectively with ICD-10 Codes and CPT codes on claims
Contact payers about bill payment and be able to accurate utilize the payers website
Adhere to True Health?s Health and Safety guidelines for the protection of each individual working in the laboratory. Training is provided annually and review is provided as needed during staff and team meetings
