Account Manager Job Opening in New York, New york - KITE HILL is currently looking for an Account Manager to drive public relations campaigns forward and to manage account teams for clients in the ad tech and media industries. We?re looking for someone who is proactive, loves working in an entrepreneurial environment, taking on exciting challenges and learning new skills. We're not your typical agency.
Position Summary:
Serve as a day-to-day contact for client accounts
Be responsible for media outreach and executing on integrated communications campaigns
Be responsible for content production, including press releases and bylined articles, while demonstrating in-depth knowledge of a client?s business
Ensure that accounts are strategically on target with a client?s business goals
Manage several accounts/teams and participate in mentoring Account Executives, Assistants as well as interns, to ensure that each team member understands their role to push the account forward
Qualifications:
4-6 years of public relations experience, including relevant agency experience
Experience working with clients in the advertising, marketing or media/publishing industries
Experience pitching journalists and securing media placements
Experience pitching new business
Excellent research, writing and editing skills
Bachelor?s degree in public relations, communications, journalism or related discipline
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Must have client-facing experience
Creative problem-solving, organization and strategic planning skills
Goal-oriented approach to client work
