Senior Analyst Job Opening in New York, New york - Description
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Business Solutions, the Senior Analyst will support Acurity's Non Rx, GPO supply chain effort, working collaboratively with assigned member organizations. With member input, the Contract Manager will effectively deliver our program and services by developing plans and strategies that consider and utilize all available resources and tools. The contract manager will also support training and education of new and growing analysts.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
Provide analytics for all phases of contract administration, including implementation of new contracts and expiration of expired contracts.
Support the ad-hoc analytical needs of the facility, including cost analysis and tracking of savings initiatives.
Assist in reinforcing the members? use of the online catalog and contract activation functions.
Provide training.
Develop customized analytical reports to meet requests of external and internal customers.
Presentation of analysis to all levels of management.
Skills & Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree required.
3+ years? experience in an analytical capacity.
Flexibility in tool knowledge, use, and reporting capabilities (Advanced Excel, SQL, Access, Tableau etc).
Ability to work with large data sets, disparate data sets and put into workable formats.
Ability to manipulate data sets, complete financial analyses, and plug into dashboards (Tableau) as have the ability to present the data to senior management.
Experience with quality assurance and the data validation process.
Prior healthcare product experience either with a healthcare provider, medical supply manufacturer, or distributor.
Prior experience working with group purchasing organizations is preferred.
Experience with hospital materials management information systems a plus.
Ability to work as a team as well as being self sufficient.
Experience working on a a project from start to finish (data mining, analysis to presentation).
Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and manage deadlines as required.
