If you answered ?yes?, Oak Orchard Health has an exciting opportunity for you. The Clinical Quality and Performance Improvement Coordinator role is a newly created, exempt level position which will provide support in developing an organizational culture of quality care and performance improvement. Will be involved in activities supporting the improvement of data quality and governance. Will utilize a variety of data-laden reports and analyses to measure, analyze, and improve clinical quality and outcomes. Will perform chart audits, workflow analysis, and other activities which measure and monitor clinical quality. Will recommend, implement and monitor appropriate measures to track performance and identify areas of opportunity. Will coordinate and offer assistance to members of the Quality Improvement Committee in the assessment, analysis and reporting of measures as required by HRSA, UDS, and NCQA standards. Will participate on the policy and procedure development team and offer input relative to quality improvement and DOH/HRSA requirements. Will identify areas of organizational vulnerability with quality care/patient safety and propose strategies for improvement. Use root cause analysis and sentinel event alerts to assist clinical and management in reducing risk and meeting compliance. Will lead PDSAs and performance improvement initiatives.
Ideal candidate will be a nurse or nurse informaticist with experience and/or education in Quality Improvement. Preference is for an individual with at least five years of clinical experience and performance improvement certification in a quality program such as PDSA, Lean Six Sigma, CQI, etc. Must have the abilities to analyze and interpret data, strong technical skills, conduct chart audits and led performance improvement teams.
