ddms is currently seeking an experienced full-time Software Engineer for our St. Paul, MN office.
The successful candidate will work as part of a fun, progressive, fast paced, development team that is working on a multitude of client and internal web-based application development projects. Job duties include building solid, smart, and JavaScript code for use in ddms? client-facing products and SaaS offerings. Users include Fortune 100 companies, technical consultants, lawyers and project managers.
Development team is encouraged to utilize best and newest tools, tricks and ideas in building intuitive, good looking and powerful information analysis tools for our clientele. ddms is committed to staying with the latest and greatest in software, technology and software development best practices.
Requirements include:
Experience with C# and MVC technologies
Experience with JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS
Experience building RESTful web services
Experience with relational databases, scripts, reports and ETL processes
Experience working with Agile methodologies
Work with other company thought leaders on DevOps processes
Ability to work constructively with team members on new and legacy products
Ability to identify and resolve defects
Desired but not required:
Desire and drive for automation and continuous deployments
Experience building and deploying application to cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure)
jQuery and Angular or other JavaScript frameworks
Proficient with git, or comparable distributed version control system
Experience with web application leveraging Esri GIS technology
Data visualization experience
