We are looking for a HR Business Partner for our Cascade Valley Hospital location in Arlington, WA. As a strategic partner, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) aligns Skagit Regional Health?s business objectives with employees and management in designated departments. The HRBP identifies and manages HR needs and is a consultant to management on Human Resource related issues.
Essential Functions:
Provide expert advice, coaching, and counsel to leaders and employees on HR policy and procedures, employment/labor laws, communication and conflict resolution, employee engagement, employee development, change management, diversity and inclusion alignment with our mission and strategic priorities.
Provide strategic partnership and input to leaders regarding strategies that support the culture, and strategic direction of the organization and the growth of the organization and alignment of employees.
Uses data and effective relationships with strategic partners.
Builds strong and trusting relationships with leadership and employees.
Complies with all SRH policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree, Masters preferred; or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training and experience in an acute healthcare setting.
PHR or SPHR highly preferred.
Minimum of four (4) years related human resource experience.
Experience in a unionized environment preferred.
Previous experience in a healthcare environment is highly desired.
Other Qualifications:
Knowledge of applicable regulations, federal and state laws and public sector employment.
Broad knowledge of human resource, employee and labor relations, organizational development.
Mediation and conflict resolutions skills.
Effective investigation skills.
Knowledge of organizational and team dynamics and methods to support continued improvement in these areas.
