Kennel & Veterinary Assistant Job Opening in Somerset, Kentucky - A high-quality veterinary hospital located in Somerset, KY on the beautiful Lake Cumberland is seeking a highly motivated, people-oriented veterinary assistant to complement our animal health care team. Duties include client contact, animal care, dog walking, facilities maintenance, data entry, telephone contact, and general assisting the healthcare team in everything ranging from exams to radiographs to lab work to surgery to patient care. Salary commensurate with abilities, retirement and other benefits offered. If you are interested in a career working with great doctors, fantastic team members, and outstanding clients and their pets, we'd love to hear from are open 5 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 8-6 and Saturday 9-5). Our employees work 4 days a week (35-40 hours) allowing 3 days off each week. We are a full service small animal hospital with an emphasis on client and patient care. We have 4 exam rooms, indoor runs, large grass fenced yards, 2 wet tables, a Canis Major lift table in one room, therapy laser, in house lab and more. We have 1 full time and 1 part time doctor. We are a friendly hard working family that all work well together.
