Marketing/Advertising Intern Job Opening in Lexington, Kentucky - Lexington Podiatry is looking for a qualified, unpaid intern to join our team for Fall 2017. Our marketing department seeks an intern who can participate in various stages of print and online marketing and advertising campaigns in the growing healthcare market.
This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of marketing. We offer flexible hours and lots of hands on training.
Examples of Possible Responsibilities
Assist in the creation of inner-office signage, point of purchase displays, mock ups, e-mail campaign copy, on line promotion, etc.
Write & publish articles for our weekly bi-line in or monthly article in Health 24/7 magazine.
Help set up the new ecommerce website
Assist in developing branding campaign for in-house Physical Therapy.
Assist in the distribution or delivery of marketing materials.
Assist with fulfillment of marketing offers.
Assist with execution of trade shows & create compelling slideshows to run in the background.
Perform analysis of marketing and sales data with programs like Klipfolio.
Assist in preparing presentations for large, local businesses.
Assist with list management for contact management systems, email capture, etc.
Provide support to social media efforts using different platforms & dashboards.
Maintain tracking report of public relations activity.
Requirements
Lexington Podiatry is looking for an undergraduate student with excellent verbal and written communication skills, with knowledge of social media sites and is familiar with PowerPoint, Word and Excel. The biggest requirement is a willingness to learn because everything else can be taught!
