Magento Developer Job Opening in Saddle Brook, New jersey - Nourison is looking for an experienced, in-house Magento web developer to join our Saddle Brook, New Jersey team. The right candidate has a strong knowledge of Magento development best practices, including extending existing functionality, creating custom modules and working with its API. This individual will help design, build and enhance the online capabilities that grow our business. We need someone who values quality code and excellent user experiences.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Apply your expertise in PHP & MySQL & Javasript & Magento to extend, enhance and build great ecommerce experiences
Works in collaboration with the Nourison marketing team to ensure proper implementation of website functionality
Continuously looks for opportunities for website or process improvement
Perform UX/UI enhancements, new site features, enhancements, mobile and payments
Development, programming with PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, MySQL
Estimate effort required to implement changes and enhancements
Gather and understand client requirements
Conduct testing and take accountability for the quality of your work
Experience & Skills:
At least 3-5 years of ecommerce and/or software development experience with a Magento and extensions (Certified Magento Developer Credentials Preferred)
Advanced knowledge of PHP and MySQL databases
Knowledge of optimized web server configurations and have experience scaling web applications
Experience with LAMP stack
Experience with Responsive development
Proven track record in performing well in a fast-paced environment, with the organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Ability to accept and work with feedback from multiple sources
Work within a collaborative team environment willing to contribute to the team as needed
Able to demonstrate a strong initiative to contribute new ideas, creativity, and process improvement
