Technical Architect/Project Lead Job Opening in Somerset, New jersey - Bluesurge Technologies provides end to end Managed Services to Global Clients utilizing real time Machine intelligence. The Company is engaged with leading product OEMs, Carriers, Service Providers and diversified enterprises to help fully leverage Smart Connected Devices, Machines and the Internet of Things and People.
This role will assist Senior & Executive Management in taking up technical Architect responsibilities in developing the Surge Cloud Enterprise IoT platform in Microsoft Azure. This Role will take the business requirements and work with the Contractors and internal team of developers to ensure all the technical components and applications are completed per best practices.
Duties & Responsibilities
Development and Oversight of Solution Architecture
Drive technical direction via hands-on prototyping and software development consultation.
Ensure compliance to solution architectural design in the implementation of projects
Review IT solution strategies to stakeholders and other IT professionals
Review the solutions provided by the contractors and internal teams; (studying system capabilities or processes; analyzing alternative solutions; reviewing the system specifications.)
Apply subject matter expertise in AZURE to identify and translate business and system requirements into software architecture and design artifacts and documents; ensuring that the proposed solution addresses all the requirements and aligns with the future-state, enterprise-level architecture.
Serve as an advisor to the project teams throughout the System Development Life Cycle.
Development and Oversight of Solution Architecture and ensure that best practices are used when designing the solutions architecture.
Support Strategic Architecture Planning and Identify and mitigate existing business risk or risks associated with solution architecture.
Understands business needs and work with development team to ensure accurate representation of business needs though the applications developed.
Utilize project management tools to actively monitor development efforts and foresee obstacles to introduce solutions and improvements.
Review project scopes and ensure most effective solution/cost ratio is utilized according to the proposal and involve all relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility.
Assist senior management in exploring new and advanced solutions to enable innovative solutions enrich business offerings.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or at least 5 years? experience in related field.( 5+ years of experience in architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications )
Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends
Strong Experience in MS Azure IaaS, PaaS, SaaS.
Strong Experience in MS Azure Stream Analytics, IoT hub components, Active Directory
Strong Experience in Data warehousing including clustered SQL servers, Azure Data Lake, HDInsight, and Apache Spark
Working knowledge with AGILE development, SCRUM and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
Broad knowledge of current industry trends and developments and considered a thought leader
Experience in providing leadership, influence and facilitation in identifying business solutions to meet strategic goals
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manages time and prioritizes Tasks.
Strong team leader with the ability to effectively manage assigned staff to ensure all projects are delivered on time, within cost and with consistent quality assurance.
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills while maintaining professional appearance and conduct.
A high level of interpersonal skills and social sensitivity are required.
