An international company in Metairie is expanding their accounting department and looking for newly degreed Economics, Business, Accounting & Finance majors to join them! They are looking to expand in their cash & credit posting department, job duties include but are not limited to:
Creating journal entries
Posting credits, variances and remittance payments to various accounts
Billing
Reconciling and auditing accounts
Participating in month-end close
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or Mathematics
1+ year work/internship experience in professional office environment
1+ year accounting work/internship experience strongly preferred
Motivated and loves to see tasks completed
Numbers oriented and strong math skills
Hands on experience using MS Excel (advanced Excel skills a plus!)
