Design and Sales Consultant Job Opening in Ellicott City, Maryland - Zenith Kitchen & Bath is looking for an energetic, experienced, and talented sales consultant who will generate sales within the company. We are located in Ellicott City, Maryland, within a newly constructed, busy retail center with plenty of walk-through and access to food and entertainment. We are a small, tight-knit team looking for someone to bring energy, charisma, and most importantly, sales.
JOB TYPE: Full-Time
SALARY: base + commission from sales
LOCATION: Ellicott City, MD
REQUIRED WORK HOURS: 40 hours/week, 5 days a week
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 2+ years previous sales experience preferred
REQUIRED EDUCATION: N/A
REQUIREMENTS:
Strong people skills and be a team player
Strong communication skills
Organizational know-how
Ability to take direction
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of basic design and construction elements
Proficiency in Design 2020 (or willingness to learn)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Applications (or willingness to learn)
Previous customer service experience a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Meet and speak with clients (phone, e-mail, in-person, etc.)
Guide clients along the design and decision-making process
Become a communication liaison between client and project manager(s)
Create kitchen and bath designs using Design 2020 (after a short training period)
Keep the showroom tidy and organized (return materials, keep desk space tidy, etc.)
Manage catalogs
Manage order and receiving of items going in and out of the showroom
Arrive on time to the showroom and to all appointments (40 hours, 5 days/week)
