Position Summary:
Performs accounts receivable duties including automated remittance system and electronic payment methods
Data input
Communicates over the telephone in a courteous and pleasant manner, projecting confidence with a positive tone
Maintains self control in difficult situations
Follows through on problems to a proper conclusion in a timely manner
Resolves problems that require judgment based on company guidelines and philosophies
Initiates changes and corrections based on customer requests
Researches and analyzes billing issues
Identifies trends and reports items to appropriate management
Applies knowledge of company processes to explain requirements to callers
Monthly bank reconciliation
Support Accounts Payable process
Support maintenance of Accounts Payable vendors (W-9 and 1099-M)
Support completion of accounts receivable reconciliation
Knowledge of several different software programs
Understands the need to exercise confidentiality of information
Performs Accountant's duties when necessary
Education & Experience:
Bachelor Degree
Two to three years of work experience related to functions listed under Positions Summary
Valid Driver's License
Skills:
Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects
Ability to communicate (verbally/written) effectively in a confidential manner when required
Must have knowledge of MS Office, Windows operating system, and the internet
