Accounts Payable Representative Job Opening in Portland, Maine - Responsible for providing accounting support to the Finance team with guidance from the Senior Accountants and Assistant Controller. Accounts Payableteam needs your exxperience.
Review all invoices/check requests for proper approval, supporting documentation, accuracy and reasonableness
Entering invoices into the accounting system
Print accounts payable checks, obtain appropriate signatures and distribute/mail
Reconcile Accounts Payable sub ledger to general ledger
Enter wires into accounting system then file appropriately
Process credit card payments through
Process weekly expense reports and cash advances
Maintain and update accounts payable files
Answer vendor inquiries
W-9 processing
BS Accounting , Business or Finance preferred. One year of accounting required. $37K annually. Direct hire.
