Veraison Beverage Distributors is currently accepting applications for a knowledgeable and passionate sales rep for Central/Uptown/East Denver.
Candidates must have extensive wine knowledge, with the ability to learn and sell our entire portfolio. Previous sales experience helpful, but not required. Excellent communication skills are a must; self-motivated and highly organized individuals need only apply. This position requires selling to both existing retail and restaurant accounts, as well as continually opening new accounts.
You will work directly with your Sales Manager, providing a weekly plan and hitting goals assigned to you by the manager. Your Sales Manager will work with you to ensure the best service is provided to accounts. This includes, but not limited to, knowledge of wines being presented, positioning point of sale to help sell through the product, staff trainings, and developing and maintaining relationships with our buyers. This is a commission sales position that requires dedication and time to learn and sell the entire portfolio.
Requirements of all applicants:
* Reliable car, cell phone, computer, and printer
* Must be willing to work odd hours-including weekends-for special events, supplier wine dinners, in store tastings, etc.
* Attendance at monthly sales meetings
* Picking up and delivering will calls as needed
* Able to lift 40 pounds
* Working directly with sales manager
