GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Primary responsibility is the performance of all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, and lease renewals. Interacts directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy. This includes generating and handling traffic, leasing apartments, qualifying prospects, preparing lease documentation, and completing move-in paperwork and procedures. PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of organizational and community policies and procedures. Ability to apply policies and procedures to solve everyday issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials. Polished interpersonal skills. Ability to establish priorities and coordinate work activities. Ability to work in conjunction with Company managers, customers, and associates. Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, and promoting property. Must know and follow the Fair Housing laws. Demonstrated knowledge and familiarity with community and rental property operations. Ability to effectively present information to prospective or current residents. Knowledge of basic office practices and procedures. Attention to details, and basic experience with MS Office software applications required (e.g., Microsoft Office, Word and Excel). EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two years� experience with demonstrated sales experience is required. Customer relationship development experience is a plus.
