Controller Job Opening in Holland, Michigan - Directs the financial and cost accounting functions of the company by performing the following duties personally or through others. Position reports to the CFO.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Manages the Accounting Department - Organizing the accounting staff, analyzing data flow and function and coordinating period-end closings. The accounting department is responsible for operations in multiple sites and multiple currencies.
Directs and manages the following: general accounting, cost accounting, cash management, accounts receivable/payables, physical inventory, capital assets, facilities administration, payroll and payroll tax management, financial audits, and corporate administration of several other key areas.
Requirements:
Candidates must be able to effectively communicate at all levels of the Company and have excellent organizational and proven management skills.
Bachelor's degree (B.S. in Accounting / Finance); or eight or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Continuing education is required to maintain financial and analytical skills.
CPA or CMA certificate required.
