C# Developer Job Opening in Huntsville, Alabama - Omicron Research Corporation, a Leading Edge Government contractor in Huntsville Alabama, is seeking applicants for C# Developers to support our Army customer on Redstone Arsenal.
Job Responsibilities include: Work will be performed in a Systems Integration Laboratory (SIL) environment that supports the oversight and integration activities of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and UAS related technologies. The successful candidate will work as part of an agile software development team that will develop the UAS trainer system. Software development will be performed in a Windows environment utilizing Visual Studio 2015. The software developer will perform software analysis, design and development according to established coding standards and guidelines. Will be responsible for interpreting and analyzing requirements obtained/derived from the Army customer; reviewing, verifying and validating system specifications and other design-related documentation. The ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced development environment with multiple team members is a must. Also, must be self-motivated, reliable, dependable, flexible, and also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Minimum Requirements:
2+ years of in C# Experience on Windows Systems Using Visual Studio.
Experience with Unix and Windows operating systems.
Experience with the Agile Software Development Process
Ability to interact effectively with individuals of different experience levels and backgrounds including government and external industry personnel.
Preferred Skills:
CompTIA Network+/Security+ Certification.
TCP/UDP Socket Programming Experience.
Experience with Framework and Visual Studio IDE.
Active security clearance.
Required Education: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or Physics. An addition 4 years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
Eligibility: Only US citizens are eligible for this position. Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance and an Active Security Clearance is highly desired. The successful candidate will be subject to a government security investigation.
