Office Assistant Job Opening in detroit, Michigan - Office Assistant A small Business owner in the Detroit area is looking for office assistant to work from a loving Detroit home in an office setting. This position is part-time, 2-3 days depending on the work load. This position will become permanent and full time as the business grows. This position is a 1099 employee 2 days a week for sure, maybe 3 depending on the work load, (8-12 a week) Hours and days will be determined when position is filled Must have transportation Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities Answering and directing phone calls Making phone calls Taking and distributing messages Maintaining filing systems Compiling records of office activities Photocopying, scanning and faxing Ending emails Preparing outgoing mail Typing documents Data entry Organizing meetings and appointments Scheduling Errands Education and Experience Knowledge of relevant software applications Proficient in use of email and internet Proficient in Microsoft word, Excel some PowerPoint High school diploma or equivalent Able to type 30-35wpm If interested please email detroit mi michigan
