Brand Innovation Manager Job Opening in Chattanooga, Tennessee - Our client, a major health and wellness product manufacturer, is seeking a Brand Innovation Manager to join their growing team. The Brand Innovation Manager will provide leadership for U.S. product innovation for global brands.
Summary:
Our client has an opportunity for an experienced Brand Manager with a strong background in consumer product innovation. This role is a stellar opportunity for an experienced Fortune 500 Assistant Brand Manager with innovation experience looking to take the next step up the ladder. The Brand Innovation Manager will maintain responsibility for the ideation, development, and verification of innovation product roadmaps, and will work with cross-functional teams to keep a pulse on existing issues, priorities, and opportunities for innovation throughout the company.
Responsibilities:
Manage product pipelines and development initiatives
Support and improve product portfolio management strategies for global categories
Develop and validate product iterations and new product concepts
Oversee product development processes until product is mature enough to hand off to a dedicated brand team
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, business development, sales, and marketing
Establish and manage innovation budget with input from brand teams
Manage and develop direct report(s)
Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor?s Degree or higher (MBA preferred)
Must have at least 4 years of brand management experience, preferably within consumer healthcare or CPG
Must have product development and innovation experience
Proven experience leading and influencing others to achieve results (both direct reports and those on other teams)
Experience using Nielsen and/or IRI data programs
Ability to travel up to 20%
Compensation and Benefits:
The base salary for this position is $120k - $140k plus a 20% annual target bonus. This position also offers a rich benefits package, as well as nationwide relocation assistance.
