Essential Functions:
Answer incoming phone calls and assist callers.
Answer guest questions and empathize with their concerns.
Resolve guest challenges and ensure guest satisfaction.
Process Check-Ins and Check-Outs.
Complete reservations for upcoming guests.
Thoroughly understand billing procedures.
Assist guess with billing inquiries, reservation and amenity questions.
Use proper mail and message handling procedures.
Coordinate with other departments to complete tasks and guest requests.
Knowledgeable in all safety and emergency procedures.
Knowledgeable of the property and surrounding area as acting concierge.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Individual must be able to complete each essential function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
EDUCATION: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); guest service or basic accounting experience preferred.
LANGUAGE ABILITY: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customer or employees of organization.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram and schedule form.
MATHEMATIC SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure. Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, percentages and volume. Specific vision abilities to this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
PHYSICAL DEMAND: The following physical demands are part of the essential functions to the job. The associate may occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Duties include standing for long periods of time.
