Landmark Builders, Inc., located in Evans, Colorado, seeks a full time Business Development Represented (?BDR?). The BDR is the primary point of contact for sales of our general contracting services; the BDR is accountable for proactive outbound prospecting and lead management to generate new contract leads and the timely and successful responses to prospective client requests for proposals. Handle all first contact with new clients and build relationships though marketing activity ? events, campaigns, direct mail, email, etc. The following personal traits are important in our view in order to achieve success in the BDR position: good character, sound judgment, ability to multi-task, work independently, effective time management, efficiency, teamwork and working well under pressure.
Specific job activities
Generate appointments and quotes by means of outbound prospecting and lead activity management in an effort to qualify and market our services to potential customers.
Use of strong selling and influencing skills to set up qualified appointments.
Consistent use of sales approach and follow up.
Log, track and maintain customer contact and contact records.
Support work procurement activities.
Attend sales meetings, vendor training, trade shows, etc. to keep current with building products.
Interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts as necessary to meet business goals.
Make formal and informal presentation to staff and clients.
Track and manage sales pipeline to progress the acquisition process for proposal agreements.
Support marketing initiatives that create top-of-mind awareness of Landmark Builders products and services.
Follow up with key contacts upon completion of project work to access customer satisfaction and determine any future needs.
Preferred qualifications: previous experience working in a cost estimating position (reflecting a successful career), Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from a four-year college or university and/or related work experience, basic computer skills, including internet knowledge and working proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and database applications. Construction experience is highly desirable.
Valid Driver's License and clean MVR are required. Background check and drug screen to be done before final job offer is made.
