OTR Chemical/Dry Bulk Driver Job Opening in charleston, South Carolina - OTR Chemical/Dry Bulk Driver Established chemical and dry bulk tanker operation is currently seeking for the most qualified drivers on the road. Chemical work is one of the most demanding driving jobs there is. Drivers must be willing to do physical work, be intelligent, professional, flexible, and most importantly- SAFE. 45,000 lbs. of a hazrdous liquid sloshing around a smooth bore tank is not for the average driver. Chemical work is 365 days a year. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will work some weekends. You will sometimes load in the middle of the night. You may also run loads on holidays. What is upside to this job? Good pay. Good benefits. Good equipment. Good home time and our drivers get treated with respect. Our drivers do not run "the system". Often, our loads are out loaded and back empty. You will seldom have to take your 34 hour restart away from home.
