Territory Manager / Medical Device Sales Representative Job Opening in Los Angeles, California - GENERAL DESCRIPTION: We are seeking an experienced, talented, and hungry medical sales professional with a startup / hustler mentality to join on our growing team. This person will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for achievement of annual sales goals and other related objectives related to expanding ColoWrap usage within their Territory. This position is ideal for the candidate who:
Has had notable previous success selling clinical (e.g. used with / on a patient) tools & technologies)that challenge the status quo to physicians and hospitals;
Has an in-depth understanding of the hospital purchasing process and how to best position and advance the sale of a new clinical solution;
Has experience working in a start-up, preferably in a sales role;
Is seeking a sales position where the sky is the limit in terms of earnings / compensation;
Is seeking a role with strategic responsibilities and the opportunity to influence the direction of the Company;
Is passionate about colorectal cancer prevention and/or the value of simple, practical innovations to improve care and reduce costs;
Is strategic, independent, and highly-resourceful and actually prefers limited structure and uncertainty over structure and certainty because of the increased opportunity to be creative and generate exceptional results.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain strong understanding of colonoscopy and ColoWrap, and what the product does / how it works, and the clinical and economic benefits associated with its use
Identify and develop new accounts that align with the Company?s sales and marketing strategy
Plan, manage, and execute product trials leading to purchase & solution implementation
Serve as point person throughout purchasing process, including interaction with hospital
Grow accounts through frequent on-site visits and the development of strong customer relationships
Consistently and accurately capture and log sales / clinical information into the Company?s CRM platform
Represent the Company at local and regional tradeshows and medical conferences
Contribute ideas for product and sales process improvement
Stay up to date on market dynamics
May include working with and/or managing clinical specialist personnel (such as endoscopy nurses)
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 3-5 years B-2-B sales experience
At least 2 years selling clinical tools / devices to physicians / surgeons
Proven track record of sales success
Excellent listening skills
Strong negotiation and selling skills
Strong organization skills and attention to detail
Superb work ethic and commitment to success
Up to 20% overnight travel annually
Able to move up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 20 lbs. regularly
PREFERENCES:
Familiarity with GI, endoscopy, gastroenterologists, colorectal surgeons
Experience working in a startup environment

Salary: $140,000.00 to $180,000.00 /year
