Our maintenance division is undergoing a significant transformation with the objective of transitioning our existing high-performing maintenance team into a world-class Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) culture. We are searching for an individual with extensive knowledge and experience in RCM, who has the technical and leadership skills needed to perform this important role. This is a hands-on, Maintenance and Reliability role.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or an Associate?s degree with equivalent experience)
A proven RCM champion in a best-in-class manufacturing environment (5 years minimum)
CMRP certification (or other certification(s) related to RCM)
Capable of being both a team leader and a team member
Knowledge, understanding and experience with robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, electric drives (old and new) and steam mechanics
Strong work ethic
Some of the Essential Job Functions and Primary Responsibilities are as follows
Loss Accounting: uptime/output losses - conduct root cause failure analyses; prioritize and conduct loss elimination, approval and implementation plans while ensuring department buy-in, proper support teams, etc.
Condition Monitoring: Manage the quality of data collection, whether the data is collected internally or externally, to ensure that the right technologies are utilized, and the data collected for in the decision-making process is accurate and relevant to reliability improvement projects including vibration, lubrication, infrared, ultrasonic, motor current, corrosion detection and other NDT methods.
Overhaul/Shutdown Support: work to correlate process data in the planning of overhauls, shutdowns, and commissioning equipment. Link equipment condition to maintenance requirements to processes and resources including technologies, parts, tools, etc.
Provide Proactive Support: work synergistically with design, purchasing, maintenance, stores, and operations in relation to reliability centered maintenance activities.
: facilitate positive and effective communication among production, design and maintenance for eliminating the losses that result from poor practices, without seeking to ?find fault.?
Be a RCM proponent throughout the plant
Deliver RCM training to maintenance teams
Maintain proficiency in RCM applications (e.g. Ivara EXP, Meridium RCMO) and Asset Life-cycle simulation software
Be able to respond to emergency situations when needed, not excluding weekends/holidays if necessary
