Interactive Developer Job Opening in Nashville, Tennessee - SUMMARY
GS&F is looking for an mid-level Interactive Developer to join our growing Interactive Development team. You will be responsible for working alongside agency Project Managers and Interactive Developers to implement web and mobile solutions that meet client needs and agency standards. Additionally, you'll participate in daily SCRUMs, weekly sprint planning, and peer code reviews. You should be comfortable working in a creative, fast-pasted and collaborative environment and exemplify a service-oriented mentality. This is a ?full-stack? development opportunity, and is ideal for the mid-level developer seeking a career path in preparation for senior level responsibilities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
2-3 years of experience working within a development team implementing, launching and maintaining professional websites across a variety of platforms; prior agency experience preferred
Bachelor?s degree or certification in Computer Science or related field; significant work experience and professional portfolio/repo would be considered
Understanding of Agile methodologies and ability to work alongside Business Analysts and Project Managers to plan and move tickets through the software development life-cycle
Fluent in HTML, CSS, and Javascript, with previous experience in React, , along with troubleshooting cross-browser compatibility issues according to web standards
Working knowledge of *SQL, technical fundamentals of the Internet, and source code management tools and processes
Previous experience using WordPress or similar website CMS a plus
Comfortable being held accountable for delivering projects on time and to the highest standard
Highly accountable to your colleagues and exhibits a ?take ownership? mentality
Extremely detail-oriented and organized
