RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
The Senior Accountant will compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.
The Senior Accountant will also handle month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.
Analyze variances and work with sales and marketing pertaining to projections and client analysis.
Prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position.
Establish, modify, document, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
BS Accounting, or equivalent business experience, Associates in acceptable
Minimum of 4 years accounting experience with a large, fast paced company.
SAP and CPA a plus
Solid understanding of accounting processes and procedures
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with advanced working knowledge of Excel
Ability to work efficiently independently as well as part of a team
