Registered Nurse (RN) Experienced/Will train/All Shifts Job Opening in Covington, Kentucky - An excellent opportunity for an experienced RN interested in joining an exciting healthcare system dedicated to save lives and enhance the quality of life for our patients and their families. SUN Behavioral Health offers inpatient and outpatient psych services for children and adolescents.
Through a partnership with a major health system in Northern Kentucky we will construct of a new hospital. The Child Adolescent services will be moved to a newly constructed hospital with a full array of behavioral health and chemical dependency services for children, adolescent, adults, and seniors.
As we build the new hospital, this position will work at our Covington, Kentucky inpatient children and adolescent facility.
Job Summary:
Registered Nurse in the inpatient behavioral health setting
Responsible for patient care
Knowledgeable of a wide range of disorders; cognitive, emotional, developmental, social and behavioral
Perform crisis intervention
Participate in performance improvement activities within the department and participate in CQI activities
Excellent team environment with a multi-disciplinary approach

Qualifications :
Graduate accredited Nursing ProgramTwo years of experience preferred as an RN preferred in an acute care child/adolescent behavioral health setting. Will train if no behavioral health experience.
License /Certification: Current RN license to practice in the state of Kentucky. CPI training will be offered as part of orientation.
