Unique position as a Full time recruitment Specialist for a research facility, perfect for an intelligent, self-motivated, compassionate, medical assistant who has a commitment to patient safety, work quality, work productivity, timeliness, and who has the necessary skills to work as part of a clinical research team (no research experience is required).

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for contacting and scheduling potential research subjects for visits, completing screening calls for potential research subjects, managing the research sites advertising campaigns, and assisting the Clinical Research Coordinators with their day-to-day responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Answering and responding to phone calls from potential research subjects.
Making screening phone calls to determine subject?s eligibility for research studies.
Scheduling subjects for research study visits using computer scheduling software (GroupReady).
Managing advertising campaigns for research studies (television ads, newspaper ads, online ads, etc.)
May at times draw and collect blood samples from study participants, and process specimens for laboratory analyses.
May at times obtain and record vital signs including but not limited to, blood pressure, height, and weight.
Provide support for Clinical Research Coordinators. Tasks may include: filing paperwork, making copies, sending letters, creating documents, etc.
Interact with human research study sponsors and vendors (we do not conduct non-human animal studies)
Ensure compliance with applicable protocols, as well as the research site?s established research Standard Operating Procedures
Work with other members of the research team to ensure:
Study participant safety
Research quality
Productivity
Teamwork
Timely completion of research tasks
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS
A certified Medical Assistant degree in good standing for Kentucky (no research experience required)
Must have strong telephone communication skills
Must have strong phlebotomy skills

Technology skills include familiarity with the general use of Microsoft Word
Must be self-reliant, self-motivated, diligent, industrious and persistent in the workplace, and have a high work ethic
Must be able to work well with others
Must be able to perform work in a neat, efficient, well-coordinated, well communicated manner with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism
Must have record of timely and regular work day attendance (i.e. punctuality and highly limited absenteeism is a requirement)
