Job Requirements:
2-4 years in the public accounting field
Must have CPA license or be actively pursuing CPA license
Bachelor?s degree in accounting (plus the 150-credit hour requirement must be met for CPA licensing)
Self motivated and strong analytical ability
Exceptional project management, analytical, research, and written and verbal communication skills, coupled with the utmost attention to detail
Dedication to development and enhancement of team environment.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously (multi-task) and effectively and efficiently prioritize and meet deadlines
Maintain professional demeanor and confidence communicating with clients
Strong understanding of general ledger accounting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Strong proficiency in Microsoft word and excel
Experience with Creative Solutions audit software, Lacerte tax preparation and QuickBooks accounting software is a plus
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee audit planning and fieldwork for a variety of non-profit Organizations and for-profit privately held businesses
Supervise and train staff on audit fieldwork procedures and audit theory
Complete management of compilation and review engagements
GAAP Financial Statement preparation and analysis
Prepare individual, corporate and non-profit income tax returns and business filings
Prepare comprehensive tax planning and analysis for individual and corporate tax clients
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation is commensurate with job experience, education, licensing and references. Comprehensive benefit package is offered to all full time employees and includes medical, dental and vision coverage. Paid vacation and employer retirement plan contribution/match is also offered.
