Fiscal Liaison Job Opening in Rockville, Maryland - Community Options, a dynamic non-profit and healthcare organization, currently seeks a Full Time Fiscal Liaison for our Rockville, MD location.
The Fiscal Liaison is responsible for supporting the overall daily financial operations of the local offices, and serves as the liaison on fiscal matters between the local offices, regional and national office. The Fiscal Liaison will also supervise the Administrative Assistant.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, handling multiple priorities, work a flexible schedule as determined by supervisor and be able to do extensive travel throughout the region.
What You Will Be Doing:
Ensures that each individual?s personal financial accounts are created and maintained. Ensures financial propriety.
Schedules and conducts house audits at least monthly including but not limited to consumer and petty cash funds.
Maintains information for each location regarding petty cash accounts, gas and grocery card account information, and ensures staff receive applicable training.
Collects and logs gas and grocery receipts for all locations twice per month. Submits receipts to the national office once per month.
Maintains information for all vehicles including but not limited to registrations and vehicle maintenance.
Reviews and processes vehicle maintenance requests and maintains records. Ensures routine maintenance is scheduled and performed as needed.
Processes PNA invoices received from national, forwards to representative payees, and maintains documentation in individuals file.
Records and stores information by scanning and filing documents on local server.
Trains all staff initially upon hire and annually thereafter regarding proper safeguarding of individual funds and petty cash and gas/grocery account procedures. Ensures that documentation of training is maintained in staff records.
Retrieves funds, credit cards, receipts, keys and all property belonging to COI, audits and verifies accounts when a Program Manager or designee maintaining accounts terminates employment.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Accounting, OR
Associate degree, plus three years general accounting experience
Satisfactory Criminal History
Valid Driver's License with satisfactory driving record
Previous experience as an Office Manager preferred
