Bookkeeper Job Opening in Bethesda, Maryland - Outdoor Illumination is the MD/VA/DC region's premier outdoor lighting firm. For 20 years, we have been a national industry leader in lighting, irrigation and electrical work. We are growing and we currently have a career opportunity for Book Keeper, assisting our Controller/CFO.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the Controller in carrying out the responsibilities of the Finance / Accounting Department
Job costing
Invoice preparation and AR
Vendor payments and AP
Bank and other account reconciliations
Payroll and related transactions, taxes
Special projects as needed
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
Minimum of 1 year of related work experience.
Working knowledge of QuickBooks or comparable financial software, plus Microsoft Office products.
Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task and have strong attention to detail.
Solid inter-personal and communication skills.
