Pellini Gold Cordes, LLC, a local, full-service CPA firm located in West Chester, PA, provides a wide range of accounting, tax and consultative services to the surrounding business community. We are currently seeking a motivated, enthusiastic self-starter with a minimum of 10 years of recent public accounting and tax experience to lead engagements for privately held businesses and individual clients with the potential of becoming a partner.
Responsibilities:
Prepare & review corporate, partnership and individual tax returns
Prepare and manage interim and year-end accounting services and the preparation of ?financial statements? (SSARS 21)
Participate in the preparation of the compilation and review of financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
Research and address complicated tax and accounting issues
Oversee selective accounting staff
Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients
This is an excellent opportunity to become a trusted business partner and advisor, where you can think outside the box, go beyond the numbers and provide high-level technical expertise helping our clients to make sound business decisions.
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, CPA license and the ability to manage multiple priorities, lead a small accounting staff, work independently and as part of a team and be dedicated towards a partner track. Strong communication, organizational, analytical, client service, leadership and PC skills including MS Word & Excel and QuickBooks proficiency are a must. Prior supervisory experience, an existing book of business and CCH ProSystem fx software proficiency are all a plus.
