Staff Accountant Job Opening in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Summary:
Staff Accountant supports the Controller and Accounting Manager in a fast paced, diversified, high volume accounting department of a not-for-profit group practice affiliated with a major pediatric healthcare enterprise. The Staff Accountant I will review accounts payable submissions for accuracy per established quality assurance guidelines, prepare journal entries and supporting schedules, reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements, assist with monthly closings and annual budgets and audits.
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting required with one to five years accounting experience as well as
a strong work ethic.
Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities including pivot table and customized reports.
Knowledge of Lawson accounting software preferred.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Ability to handle ad hoc projects and meet critical deadlines.
