Quality Assurance Tester Job Opening in Herndon, Virginia - Quality Assurance Tester our client is searching for highly motivated and self-directed software qa tester to join our growing software development team who can work on all aspects of software quality assurance. responsibilities will include creating and executing test plans, test cases and performing general ad-hoc testing. prior experience in integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing methodologies is a must, especially with web-based products. responsibilities include but are not limited to: ? develop, execute and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases and test scripts. ? execute tests and document software defects in issue management system. ? assist with setup and maintenance of test environments. ? collaborate and communicate with the stakeholders and ensures client satisfaction. ? help resolve technical support issues escalated by support staff. ? assist with creation, update and review of technical documents. job requirements ? bscs or 5 years relevant experience required. ? in depth understanding of qa processes, practices and systems. ? demonstrated experience testing web-based technologies. ? experience executing and coordinating integration, system, regression and user-acceptance testing. ? 8+ years of paid software qa experience. ? agile development methodologies. desired experience: ? 3-5 years of experience with testing data warehouse/etl applications. ? experience in business intelligence testing. ? knowledge of data warehouse star-schema design and usage. ? experience in creating data mapping specifications and test plans for etl development. ? experience working with business partners, product management, and application development on multiple projects. ? experience in planning the implementation of automated test plans and automated testing using either open source or commercial test automation tools. ? experience designing, scripting, and executing automated tests utilizing selenium ide and selenium webdriver tools. ** for immediate consideration please send your most updated resume to **
