Position Overview
A large 85-year-old, national OEM appliance & HVAC parts distribution company seeks an experienced and highly motivated Regional Sales Manager with a proven track record of achieving territory financial goals. The sales territory includes a substantial portion of Louisiana and portions of objective of the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) position is to achieve the revenue and profit plans of the assigned geographic sales territory. The RSM account and prospect base is comprised of local and regional appliance and HVAC dealers, service and repair shops, parts resellers, and other assigned prospects and current accounts.
The primary position duties include development of new account revenue via ortunities identification & sale of new accounts as well as revenue growth from a large base of current active accounts
Essential Functions:
* Maintain a 35 in person sales call average per week* Develop and execute an approved territory growth plan* Create and maintain professional business relationships with key decision makers* Utilization of consultative selling skills* Manage customer relationships to ensure retention, growth and client satisfaction.* Complete regular sales call plans and results as well as other basic company reporting.
Desired Experience and Skills:
* Four or more years outside business to business sales experience.* Large geographic sales territory management experience.* Experience and working knowledge of consultative selling skills.* Able to demonstrate a consistent history of attaining assigned revenue goals.* Experience & demonstrated success in selling and growing a blend of small, mid, and large accounts.* Proficiency in the use Microsoft Office tools.* Ability to work independently* Ability to manage the account base and necessary travel including some overnights.
