Job Description:
Activities and responsibilities will include interfacing with multiple engineering disciplines (hardware, software and specialty engineering including reliability, safety and human factors) as well as equipment suppliers, in order to support the development of requirement specifications and other design for the successful integration of avionics subsystems onto fixed and/or rotary wing aircraft platforms. Our most current needs are for team members experienced with designing, integrating and testing software centric systems. Areas of focus may include items such as weapons, datalinks, Ethernet networking, computing systems, communication systems, navigation systems, video encoding, 1553 interfaces, radar, digital stores management system, scripting and debugging, troubleshooting and working closely with the software development team.
Mandatory Skills:
Avionics Systems engineering experience, preferably working military programs Experience with requirements development, system design, problem analysis and resolution, and/or integration and test The ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Previous Systems Engineering experience across the entire program life cycle within military aircraft / avionics architectures and associated off-board support systems
Desired Skills:
Demonstrated technical leadership; ability to communicate on all levels with internal and external customers/excellent presentation and customer interaction skills Familiarity or experience with agile development Experience using DOORS Experience with modeling and simulation
