We are looking for senior-level full stack software engineers to help expand our digital commerce platform to better meet the demands of our growing omnichannel client base.
A successful candidate will have the following:

5+ years of experience developing web-based applications.
Proficiency in C# and the framework.
3+ years of data modeling experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience building applications using Web Forms and MVC.
Working knowledge of common design patterns.
Expertise in relational databases and structured query languages.
Experience producing and consuming web services using a variety of technologies (WCF, Rest, Web Api, etc).
Solid grasp on unit testing principles and best practices.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the common design principles (SOLID, DRY, KISS, YAGNI, etc), but will more importantly, have the experience to apply them appropriately within the constraints of a small business environment. They will also understand the importance of unit testing and how it influences software design. And finally, they will have a deep desire to learn and keep their skills sharp.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Participate in all phases of a formal SDLC.
Develop complex software solutions from concept to product with a high degree of latitude.
Perform tasks either independently or in a team setting.
Lead and/or facilitate development initiatives.
Mentor junior engineers.
Participate in peer code reviews.
Author, review, and contribute to design documentation such as HLD?s and LLD?s.
Design and develop testable software; along with the appropriate unit tests.

Visual Studio 2012 or above
TFS
Ability to read and understand UML diagrams
Preferred Technical Skills:
Web API
Working knowledge of TDD.
Ability to author UML diagrams
Client-side technologies (javascript, TypeScript)
Education:
BS in computer science or equivalent work experience.
Location:
This is a remote position, however there are monthly meeting commitments in Pittsford, NY.
