Director of Events for Celebrity Chef Restaurant Job Opening in Greenwich, Connecticut - We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team in Greenwich, CT as the Director of Events. This position will also include a marketing element for qualified candidates. Day to day responsibilities include:
Oversight of the sales and operations of private events. Conduct outward sales and oversee incoming inquires and coordinate events with clients. Incoming inquiries will be managed via TripleSeat (CRM data tool). * Communicate with the GM and accounting to ensure proper capture and closure of all event transactions, commission allocations, and budget/forecasting. * Special attention shall be paid to new client opportunities in the market (local business, financial firms, and offices) as well as driving revenue during off peak hours. * Conduct on site walk throughs and tours of the restaurant to inquiries and prospective clients. * Develop standardized SOP?s along with the management team, ensuring that these standards are being met for each event. Work with the team on operations and attend events when necessary. * Assess each inquiry and work with the General Manager to assess the financial feasibility and return of the restaurant. * Schedule and meet with clients to tour the spaces * Evaluate client needs and budget to customize proposals for client based requirements. * Continue a regular scheduled ongoing follow up in an effort to generate increased repeat business. * Maintain knowledge of all market trends and related competition. * Fully develop and oversee off premise catering program. Work with catering partner to create a program which can fulfill all offsite needs within the capability of the partnership?s operation.
Qualified candidates will have experience in Microsoft Office programs (excel, powerpoint, word, outlook), as well as a strong ability to multi-task.
